The Ingles live primarily though subsistence hunting on DrAlta:Evergreen Mountain. Barb runs a saw mill to earn the money for the things they can't provide for themselves.

Olivia Ingles, Barbs wife and the family matriarch
DrAlta:Barbara Ingles Olivia's husband and the family patriarch
DrAlta:Beth Ingles,17, Female, writer, the eldest of the seven children
DrAlta:Joshua Ingles,15, Male, musically talented
Mary Ellen Ingles,13, Female, headstrong daughter; becomes a nurse
Erin Ingles,13, Female, works as a telephone operator and as manufacturing supervisor
Benjamin Ingles,12,Masculine Herm,has an entrepreneurial spirit
Jamie Robert Ingles,10 ,Feminine Herm, youngest Ingles son; mechanically
Elizabeth Ingles,6, Female, youngest of the seven children
Brooklen, Their family dog.
