Humanity thinks that the Aequilibrium Evertendi keeps their arrogance in check-in reality it keeps their indifference to each other in check.

The thing is that when Humans outgrow their area and then try to take Saeva territory, it starts a war and the humans lose. And when the Saeva outgrow their territory they invade human territory, it then starts a war and the humans lose.

So tamers "thin the herd" so that they Saeva don't outgrow their territory. You have to play by the terms of the Saeva and take the territory like a Saeva would take it from another Saeva and those willing to do that are rare, so it doesn't happen often.

That is the balance of annihilation, The Aequilibrium Evertendi.

What The Aequilibrium Evertendi actually does is make indifference a luxury that humanity can no longer afford. And that when they return to the Laws of Power is what triggers an Aequilibrium Evertendi.

I think it should be taboo to refer to an Aequilibrium Evertendi by anything else. If you are shorting it then you aren't showing respect to it which means you're starting to get arrogant and risking triggering one

I was thinking it should be included in the entry that tells the true reason for the revenge war and that they haven't fully learned the lesson Sukebei forced humanity to take: That humanity would have Aequilibrium Evertendis until they learned that they have to help anyone whenever they can, because in The New Would if you don't you will be killed.

It's literally either pass or die.

Sukebei didn't make the WoMai go feral so that WoMai would need to have sex with humans to have human-like intelligence; he made it so that humans would have you have sex with WoMai to not be killed by WoMai.

Having sex with someone triggers the very same biological bonding mechanisms in humans that are used to get mothers to take care of their babies. https://www.healthline.com/health/love-hormone

Like I said, Sukebei made it, so humans would have to behave right, or they would die.
