Actually a misnomer, as it's Bonding that triggers this condition, not Template:Taming.

When an WoMon first forms a new Beta Class Bond, she undergoes Taming Shock.

This is thought to be due to the mild mental trauma of accepting another as her master and using their master's mind during Taming to stave off Feraldom for the first time.

Taming shock caused not only by the WoMon getting use to having her thoughts handle by her Commandant, but also by her commandant adjusting to thinking for her.

If the Tamer is mentally impaired(e.g. By alcohol or some or drugs, by a WoMon he already bonded to still going through her Taming Shock) He will experience Taming Shock too until the impairment is over.

Taming Shock is a mild condition; the affected person can no longer speak in the first or second person, instead referring to themself and others only by pronouns or by name. This condition usually wears off in a few days, though aberrant cases of as little as a few hours and as long as three weeks have been reported.
