Lace[edit]

I'm thinking ferals present lace as a formal affirmation of cooperation or friendship

(these should be made be the lace giver)

And to honor individuals for performing selfless acts of courage and honor for the lace giver or for someone that the lace giver cares greatly about, like a child or lover.

(these should be ones that were given to the lace-giver)

WoMai are able to tell the history of the creation and passing down of the Lace(magic and/or scent?)

Combat[edit]

Parerie[edit]

Parera (sing.), Pararie (pl.) Pronounce like Spanish

A Parera is like a Parry Dagger that is used in the dominate hand.

WoMai channel their energy thou this object, so that if one of the deflected attack gets though, they don't get hurt.

WoMai puts her Parera in the path of on incoming attack and tries to neutralize the energy in the attack, if she fails to completely neutralize the energy that attack is discharged into the Parera instead of hitting the parrying Aequis directly.

Ferals' Parerie usual have a practical purpose outside combat like chopping down trees or cutting though undergrowth and for agricultural purposes that while they could use their powers to do, the amount of focus and energy for the precision control needed makes using a tool the preferable method.

Quew[edit]

Offhanded weapon[sic] used to count coup and for passive combat buff non directly related to offense or defense tasks like mana store or focus or for healing

Quew Sticks are usually just a random item that happened to be handy.

Designed, Quew Sticks are made to either let the target know that they've been Quewed of to tell others that they have been Quewed.

Ones that are designed to let the target know ether cause a sudden pain like stubbing your toe or a slowly growing pain like having cinnamon/ hot souse on your skin.

Ones designed to single the Quew to other are using designed to remove something the target is wearing.

Usually the Highest Quew is giving back, before they have finished licking their wounds from the battle, a (repaired) object that the one has removed during battle.

The highest form of respect a feral can show/be shown is for an item to removed in a Quew to be given to one of the target's kōhai so that the kōhai can return it to the target. This can be tricky as the best if for the Kohai to repair the item but if the Kohai can't get the item fixed then it's a major faux pas for one trying to show respect.

The reason it's given to one of the Target's Kohai is so the Kohai can show their appreciation of the Senpai and gain status by returning the object
