Editing WoMon:Gestalt Bearesses

Gestalt Bearesses are not WoMai. They are the member's of a race native to another world that found themselves stranded in The World of WoMai.

== Appearance. ==
Gestalt Bearesses are Anthro Bears. When full-grown, they average 12'4" tall, which with their proportions means that their nipples are right at the mouth for an adult human. 

== Breastfeeding ==
Breastfeeding people that are old enough to be weaned is stigmatized by Gestalt Bearesses like smoking is stigmatized in turn of the second millennium America. Just like smoking is addictive to humans, breastfeeding is addictive to Gestalt Bearesses, thou the craving do go away if they can stop long enough for their milk to dry up.  

== Psychic Abilities ==
On their native World, Gestalt Bearesses were exterminated due to the fear of their psychic abilities; They still don't acknowledge them outside their own psychic communication channels.

=== The Gestalt ===
When a Gestalt Bearess has access to the semantic memories of other Gestalt Bearesses just like those memories were her own.  
At first, she needs to press her forehead against the other Bearess to access their memories. But when she enters puberty she starts to be able to do it at a distance; by the time she is fully mature, the range of this ability is 100 miles.

=== Telepathy ===
By meditating a Gestalt Bears can broadcast thoughts to all she is capable of accessing their semantic memories.

To receive the thoughts, she needs to be meditating when they are being sent.

The sending Bearess has no way of knowing if her broadcasts are being received.

==== Pings ====
With training, a Bearess can learn to 'ping' a specific individual. The individual doesn't need to be meditating to receive the ping. But it has to know information content.

=== Mind-Meld ===
While a mature Gestalt Bearesses is touching her forehead against someone else's, forehead she can send thoughts to them, even they are not Gestalt Bearess.  If the individual knows how, they can allow the Bearess to form a [[WoMon:Gestalt Bear Mind-Melds|Mind-Meld]].  

It takes 90 to 120 seconds for a Bearess to send the information needed for one to accept a Mind-Meld

Bearesses considered Mind-Mends a deeply personal thing, part of the private life, and generally not used on people one doesn't consider part of one's family.


== Sexes and Genders ==
There are 3 sexes  of Gestalt Bearesses:

*Major Females
*Minor Females
*Herms

A Major female's daughter has a 50% chance of being a Major Female and 50% of being a Minor Female.

A Minor Female's daughter has a 50% chance of being a Minor Female, 25% 
 of being a Major Female, and 25%  of being a Herm.

A Herm's daughter has a 50% chance of being a Minor Female and 50% of being a Herm.

This means that their population is 25% Major Females, 50% Minor Females, and 25% Herms.

== Genders ==
Herms don't use shi/hir pronouns. if that dress and act masculine they use He/Him if they dress and act feminine they use she/her.
Female Bearesses always use she/her even if they dress and act feminine.


== Love ==
For Gestalt Bearesses, to love someone means that one is willing to risk one's life to bear their child.
