What it's like to be Feralborn[edit]

A lot of Feral-Borns have meltdowns over what others would see as a minor inconvenience.

But minor inconveniences don't really exist for Feral-Borns

Because we feel things so intensely (which is really rather beautiful), it only makes sense that we emotionally and physically break down easily over anything, because everything is a big thing to us.

And that's not a bad thing.

A lot of us live very much in the moment. We are detail oriented, how could we not? And whatever exists in that one moment, even something as small as a grain of sand, it is the most important thing in the whole world to us.

And that same piece of sand that gives us a myriad of curiosity and joy, can also be the cause of overwhelming and gut-wrenching emotion. And that...that can be scary.

So we exist in the world, in each moment, with an innate readiness for either something scary and exhausting, or something deep and wonderful.

And in it all, it is never, ever bad to feel at such a great depth.
