Tobias was adopted by Alta and Twadi but soon after Twadi died and Alta tried to find a family in his childhood town of Walnut Creek to raise him, when no one would take him in Alta and Tobias moved to Hatcher's Pass where Alta raised him as a single father until Tobia's apprenticeship as a carpenter in the Evergreen Forest. After his Apprenticeship he married Adelaide, Dete's sister. They had one daughter, Heidi. He met with his death only two years after their marriage, a beam falling upon him as he was working, and killing him on the spot.
