A 𓅽 Fugue is a mental state that involve disruptions or breakdowns of memory, conscious awareness, identity, and/or perception.
This interferes with a person's general functioning, including social and work activities, and relationships.
Symptoms of 𓅽 Fugue include the following:
- Inability to speak in the first or second person, instead referring to oneself and others only by 3rd person pronouns or by name.
- Sudden and unplanned travel away from home
- Inability to recall past events or important information from the person's life
- Confusion or loss of memory about their identity, possibly assuming a new identity to make up for the loss
- Feeling confronted if challenged about your identity
- Extreme distress and problems with daily functioning (due to the fugue episodes)
Once a 𓅽 Fugue has passed, one may experience symptoms like:
- Feelings of depression
- Periods of grief
- Feelings of shame
- Discomfort or anger
- Feelings of distress about being in an unfamiliar place
- Feeling as though you have lost time
