Astroseamanship is the ability to handle your self on an [[Astroschooner]]. All combat skill skills are at half maximum effective [[Expertise Level|EL]] while an Astroschooner is airborne unless you know this skill. The skill is checked by all onboard when I Astroschooner Rams/is Rammed, When a Critical hit is scored against the Astroschooner, or when the Helmsman fails a [[Pilot(Skill)|Piloting]](Astroschooner) check. In those cases the difficulty is one level pre 5%, round up, that the check was succeed/failed by. They also need to make a skill check against the storm severity to remain upright in severe weather. If they fail their check they are knocked prone. If the critical fail they damage, using the same [[Base Line]] and the % fail by subtracted from the minimum [[Shield Hit]]%.

Once this skill is learned you get half your [[Seamanship(Skill)]] [[Expertise Points]] in AstroSeamanship too
