Gamos the process by which two [[WoMai]] make their relationship public, official, and permanent. It is the joining of two WoMai in a bond, an intimate union of equal partnership of an [[Antres|Antras]] and a [[Gynaikes|Gynaikas]], that putatively lasts until death.

It acts as a social and legal contract that gives a partner someone to rely on, brings a greater degree of intimacy and emotional security.

Gamos means many different things, to many different people. It can be difficult to find a universally applicable, true meaning of what Gamos is. There are so many differing viewpoints on this subject, and people often disagree about what Gamos means to them.

= Marriage means to be in Agreement =

In order to go on a life-long journey together, both people must have agreed to do so.

Once two WoMai have decided that Gamos is for them, they have to decide upon what their true meaning of Gamos is. Often the couple will discuss the topic of what legal marriage contract they will use. Other important agreements involve whether to have children, if so, how to raise the children and what Gamos means to them as a couple.

= Gamos Should Mean Letting Go of Selfishness =
It has been discussed that Gamos is the joining of two people, therefore it goes without saying that there will need to be some level of compromise.
