A Character’s healing chance (HC) equals:&lt;br /&gt;

When a Character starts a day damaged, he rolls his healing&lt;br /&gt;
chance. Healing occurs when the roll of D100 is less than&lt;br /&gt;
or equal to the healing chance. The following factors are&lt;br /&gt;
subtracted from the Player’s roll:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A) StaB is subtracted each day.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
B) Per day that the Character fails to heal, additive, ConB&lt;br /&gt;
is subtracted.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
EXAMPLE — A Character has an StaB of +1 and a ConB of +2.&lt;br /&gt;
On every healing roll, he will subtract one. Per day that he&lt;br /&gt;
rolls and fails to heal, by rolling greater than his healing chance,&lt;br /&gt;
he will add two for his ConB, in addition to his StaB modifier.&lt;br /&gt;
On the second day, after failing to heal on the first day, the&lt;br /&gt;
Character subtracts three, on the third he subtracts five, on the&lt;br /&gt;
fourth seven, etc.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
IMPORTANT — When healing occurs a Character heals&lt;br /&gt;
1D3+StaB hit points. No more than one healing roll is allowed &amp;lt;span style=&amp;quot;line-height:14px;&amp;quot;&amp;gt;per day, unless magic is used on the Character (See 1.3.4.3). Healing cannot increase a Character above his&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
HPV at any time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1.3.2.5.1.1 Infection&lt;br /&gt;
If a Character’s Healing Chance roll,&lt;br /&gt;
after all modification, is 91 or higher, he is infected. He&lt;br /&gt;
will remain infected until he succeeds in healing again. The&lt;br /&gt;
result of infection is:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A) Per day, starting immediately, the Infection will score&lt;br /&gt;
1D3 hits on the Character.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
B) While infected, the Character’s Healing Chance is reduced 50%, rounded up.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
C) If an infection scores 10 or more hit points on a Char-&lt;br /&gt;
acter, the Character is delirious and incapable of meaningful action.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
D) All normal Damage Tolerance rules apply while infected.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
E) When the player heals, the infection is checked. The&lt;br /&gt;
successful healing serves only to check the infection. It&lt;br /&gt;
will not cure any damage.&lt;br /&gt;
